I pretty much agree with your assessment - sometimes pleasant (unless challenged) and intermittently amusing enough, but probably not what he purports to be. Would a real Frenchman so willingly take on the comedy Frenchman role? It would be one thing to make a few errors in speech, but to go to such lengths to carry these absurd mannerisms into the written word just seems fake somehow. Put me down as a non-believer.

Question :what "mannerisms"are you talking about ?Truly ,explain what you think would be "fake"? You are a non believer ? Then why are you so uptight like a US preacher ?As for Frenchmen ,they don't see themselves as on a comedy ,too convinced they know it all better than the rest of us .Talk about fakes ! Most men are the boring fakes ,on earth ,na !!!

Mannerisms, eh? Well how about the 'na!' you so frequently end your posts with? What's that all about, Mme Ciel?

"NA" in french is a child expression meaning :"if you don't like it ,it's all the same to me ,i 'll go on and won't change it" so "NA" !!!
